The European Commission
decided in 2000 to launch the "EU-China Small Projects
Facility 2001-2005" Programme in order to assist
China's reform process and to integrate China further
into the world economy by providing flexible and responsive
tools to link policy objectives and cooperation activities
of the EU in China.
The programme is funded by the
European Commission through grants to various Chinese
organizations. The Facility is managed by the Directors
of the EU-China Small Projects Facility Programme, represented
by a Chinese and an European, and is located at the
Project Management Office (PMO) in Beijing.
